EP Goalie Coaching was started by Eythan Prendergast in 2024. Eythan has always had a passion for coaching, both players and goalies. He has coached right through the age grades, from 10U to Seniors and Prems.
Eythan started playing inline hockey at the age of 13 and within one season found himself in goal trying to stop pucks – not very well at first. Since then he has played in goal for New Zealand at Oceanias, NARCh, AAU Junior Olympics and FIRS Junior World Champs. Eythan has also proudly played for the NZ Māori Inline Hockey Team multiple times. Through these experiences he has gained a large amount of goaltending knowledge that he now enjoys sharing with the rest of the New Zealand inline hockey community.
Eythan started ice hockey at the age of 14 and played through to the age of 20. He then took a break to focus on inline, returning in 2024. In 2025 he joined the West Auckland Admirals squad.
EP Goalie Coaching now offers multiple services such as one on one coaching, video reviews and goalie camps and clinics. We are proud to work with the IHNZ Academy and Hockeywise.
